Former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram's camera crew was heckled during a live TV broadcast in Mumbai on Sunday, Indian Express reported.

Akram was commenting on Virat Kohli’s performance during the T20 World Cup match against Australia during a live post-match talk with Indian sports journalist Vikrant Gupta, when a group of people attempted to stop the broadcast.

A video footage shows camera crew being attacked before the broadcast is taken off air.

Aaj Tak Sports Editor Vikrant Gupta took to Twitter and said, “Friends no need to panic. Nothing wrong with Wasim Akram - a few people just objected to the cameras there. That's it.”

"One drunkard created scene seeing live cameras for attention," Gupta added.

Meanwhile, Akram also took to twitter and confirmed Gupat's version on the incident, and revealed that he was not harmed during the incident.
