While it was earlier reported that Bollywood actor Sunny Leone slapped a journalist for asking an inappropriate question, her husband has now denied the claim, insisting, "there is not a single fact of truth to this."
The actor has been questioned numerous times over her past life and profession as a porn star. On a previous occasion, she even calmly took down a reporter.
According to ScoopWhoop, Sunny however, grew impatient after a series of inappropriate incidents occurred on the same day. The actor arrived at a hotel in Gujarat along with her husband, Daniel Weber earlier in the day, for a Holi event she was to perform at. Soon after their arrival, a drunk intruder entered her room and asked for odd favours from her, NDTV reported.

ScoopWhoop claimed that Sunny's rage got the best of her when a journalist started interviewing her in the hotel corridor and asked, "You were a porn star earlier, now you are a film star. So how much do you charge now?"
The actor reportedly dared the journalist to repeat the question, to which he asked again, "How much do you charge for a night programme?"
At this, Sunny allegedly slapped the journalist in front of hotel staff and visitors and retreated back to her hotel room.

According to NDTV, after her fit of rage, organisers were worried she would no longer perform at the event. Leone however, kept her word and danced to popular Bollywood songs for 15 minutes, as previously agreed upon. Her only condition was that no media be allowed inside the venue of the event.
Referring to the incident, Mid-Day had quoted her husband Daniel as saying, "Sunny has given an apt reply to the reporter so we are not filing any police complaint. The organisers were also college kids so we do not want their careers to be damaged. But henceforth, Sunny will think a thousand times before coming to Gujarat."
In a report later published in Indian Express, Daniel however denied making this statement. "The quote is a complete lie," he said.
