Deepika and Sidharth to pair up for film?

"Sidharth and Deepika make a great pair" says Karan Johar

Will Deepika Padukone and Sidharth Malhotra be filming together? Could it be true? The two Bollywood actors took to Twitter recently to express their desire to work together, which was then followed by a telling remark by producer Karan Johar at a press conference.

Deepika's fan club tweeted to the the actress, a quote from Sidharth's interview in which he expressed that he "desires to work with Deepika and it will be amazing."

The Bajirao Mastani actor responded to the tweet saying, “Chalo then...what are we waiting for!?!?” to which Sidharth replied, "Alright lights camera action!"

Following the Twitter conversation, Kapoor & Sons held a press conference today, where the cast had gathered to celebrate the film's success. Reporters took the opportunity to ask Sid about the Twitter conversation he had with Deepika and if the two have a project lined up.

Sid tactfully avoided the question and pointed at Karan instead to answer the question, Pinkvilla reported. Karan Johar wasn't revealing much until he was reminded by reporters that during his Koffee with Karan weekly Twitter chat, he had mentioned that he was looking forward to working with Deepika soon.

Johar had to reveal then, "We shall be soon collaborating on something. Sidharth and Deepika make a great pair. The both look good together, so something should happen soon!"



Hamsafar's Fawad Khan was also present at the press conference, but didn't confirm or deny rumours, concerning him pairing up with Deepika for a project.
