LAHORE: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq said on Thursday that Pakistan could not be divorced from its ideology and those wanting to decimate its ideological character were the nation’s worst enemies. The JI supremo made the remarks while talking to party officials in Mansoora. “Fighting to ensure the security of the country is a sacred jihad,” he said. Haq urged the people to join the JI’s drive for a corruption-free Pakistan.  He said the nation’s rulers were more interested in wresting control of state-owned enterprises. Siraj said the rulers were not ready to hand over any of their relatives involved in financial malpractice to NAB.
