Long awaited: Punjab releases funds for special education centre

From the funding, Rs3.6 million will be paid to land owners, administration of the centre told

KALLAR SYEDAN:


The Punjab education department has released Rs7.5 million grant for construction of a special education centre in Kallar Syedan.


The centre will be constructed over 16 canals of land which has been acquired near Kalar bypass.


Currently, the centre is working in a small rented building and is lacking many facilities due to space shortage.


From the funding, Rs3.6 million will be paid to land owners, administration of the centre told.
