Busted: Robbers posing as maids arrested
A police team arrested three house maids involved in robbing homes they were employed at
ISLAMABAD:
The Special Investigation Unit of the Islamabad Police on Monday arrested six persons, including three women, for their alleged involvement in robberies. The police also claimed to have seized stolen items worth millions including gold ornaments, cash, mobile phones and weapons from their possession. A police team arrested three house maids involved in robbing homes they were employed at. The police also arrested three other suspects involved in burglaries who would pose as housemaids. They were identified as Rukhsana alias Sano, Afsana alias Farzana, and Uzma alias Gurya. One of their accomplices, Zafar, was also arrested and confessed to looting several houses in the limits of Golra, Shalimar, Margalla and the Industrial Area police stations.
