Busted: Gang of robbers arrested
The fifth member of the gang managed to escape capture

Police on Monday busted five members of an ‘inter-provincial’ gang of robbers, and arrested four of its members, while also seizing weapons and ammunition from their possession.
According to a preliminary investigation, one of the gang members used to sit inside a bank and observe customers withdrawing money from the bank, and then inform his accomplices to loot them once they left the bank.

The gang was wanted to the police in numerous cases of robbery and theft, according to Chakwal DPO Munir Masood Marth.
He said that the police, acting on information, raided a location on Railway Road and arrested Muhammad Dabeer and Afzal, residents of Sheikhupura; Shahid, a resident of Gujranwala; and Yousaf, a resident of Nankana Sahib. The fifth member of the gang managed to escape capture, the official added.
