AJK PM discusses Kashmir with Fazl
ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider on Monday met chairman of the parliamentary committee on Kashmir Maulana Fazlur Rehman and discussed issues related to the Kashmir dispute, Indian state terrorism in Indian Kashmir, arrest of APHC leaders and violation of ceasefire agreements by Indian forces.
The AJK PM briefed Fazl on the current situation in Kashmir as well as development schemes in the AJK. The Maulana assured that the Kashmir committee would play its due role for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue is clear and it would not be changed at any cost, he said, adding that, “we want resolution of Kashmir issue in accordance with resolution adopted by the UN”. He underscored the need of strengthening contacts between Kashmiri leadership across the Line of Control. ONLINE
