Fraud: Action sought against woman

LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge sought comments on Monday from the Sanda SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against a woman for preparing fake documents of his property and declaring her his stepmother.

Petitioner Babar Talib submitted that his father had passed away in 2015. He said one Tahira Bibi had later declared herself his widow and forged documents to claim his property.

He said he had asked the SHO to take action against her but he had done nothing in this regard. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against her.
