A Pesco superintendent has received a threatening letter from militants, asking him to “donate” money for jihad, otherwise his children would be killed.
An official of Khazana police station told The Express Tribune, the Pesco superintendent is a resident of Lalazar Colony. “[The letter] was written in Urdu and allegedly sent by Tehreek-e-Taliban,” he said.
The officer added the man contacted the police soon after receiving the letter and police had registered a roznamcha report and started investigation. However, few FIRs have been registered in such cases.
