On our radar
A list of what's trending in the city
Wall of kindness
The Wall of Kindness has made its way from Iran to Pakistan. Last year, some citizens in Mashhad initiated a social betterment project by painting a wall and putting hooks in it in to encourage people to hang and donate clothes for the needy. The wall in Karachi is powered by Super Savari Express and we think everyone should visit and donate items, it’s for a great cause. It is located at the back lane of Karachi Gymkhana where Flurry’s bakery used to be; opposite Shafi Court and Karim Chambers.
Kapoor and Sons
One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Kapoor and Sons is releasing on March 18. It follows the story of two estranged brothers (Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan), who are forced to return to their childhood home and while living together they both fall in love with Tia Singh (Alia Butt). That is where the trouble begins! We love all the Pak-Indo collaborations and are counting down days till we see the very talented Fawad Khan on the big screen once again!
The Balm
We can’t wait to get our hands on this fantastic range of paraben and cruelty-free cosmetics recently launched in Karachi. Some of their bestsellers include Schwing Eyeliner, Read My Lips lip gloss and Shady Lady eye shadows. Find them on Facebook.com/theBalmPakistan
Uber
The wait is over; Uber, the ultimate global taxi dispatch service app, comes to Pakistan and we can’t wait to try it out! While they only offer the service in Lahore for now, cities like Karachi and Islamabad are likely to be next. Visit their website to learn more about the app on Uber.com
Roll-ups
