At least 2,307 examination centres have been established under eight boards of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa for the upcoming Secondary School Certificate annual examinations. Around 0.8 million candidates would take the exams.

This was said by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak during a high-level meeting at CM Secretariat on Saturday, stated a handout.

As per the handout, Khattak has issued orders for security at all examination centres. He has also issued directives for a strategy to prevent cheating during exams and threatened to take action against those who use unfair means while taking the test.

The CM also ordered security arrangements should be finalised for examination centres through consultation from regional and district police officers and chairpersons of the respective boards.

Khattak directed the IGP to order all SHOs to ensure that security officials are present at all the examination centres. He said there would be no compromise on fair and transparent conduct of examination. He added committees should be formulated at the tehsil level so that examination centres can be strictly supervised.
