Planting hope: Recreational parks on the cards for Malakand districts

Almani urged the forest department to work honestly and diligently towards achieving this goal

Recreational parks will be constructed in Malakand, Dir, Buner and Swat, as per the forest act.


This was said by Zareef Almani, additional provincial secretary of forests, while speaking to the media at his office on Saturday.

“A large number of trees and flowers will be planted in these parks by the forest department to transform the dream of a green Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa into a reality,” he said.

“Taking care of the forests and the wildlife is the collective responsibility of all the people,” he added.

According to Almani, he visited to Safari Park Rang Mohalla on Friday and provided the administration with plants.

He added the provincial government was taking steps to improve the environment of the province by focusing on planting as many trees as possible.

Almani urged the forest department to work honestly and diligently towards achieving this goal.
