The eminent hair stylist and make-up artist, Natasha Saigol, rescues us all by sharing a bounty of must-have hair styling products

John Frieda Frizz Ease

This product is used on towel-dried hair. It’s fast absorbing, non-greasy, and perfect for a smooth finish, oh, and for those pesky flyaway hairs!

Osis Sparkler Finish Shine Spray

My clients just love this product. It adds additional shine to the finished look, especially on coloured hair. It is non-oily and therefore does not weigh down a blow-dry. It can be used as an overall styling product.

Umberto Giannini Enviable Body Blow Dry Spray

This provides salon-style volume and lifts your blow-dry. It also protects your hair from heat and makes it appear thicker for longer.

Lee Stafford Messed Up

This is hair putty, which is ideal for exaggerating a textured haircut. Apply a small amount to the ends of your hair to get a wicked look. It works fabulously for men who want to achieve that choppy look.

Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-In Treatment

This is a must-have treatment for distressed and damaged hair. It prevents breakage during combing and blow-drying. Apply it while your hair is still damp, onto the fragile or damaged mid-lengths and ends.

Dry Shampoos

Batiste is my personal favourite brand, but dry shampoos can be bought from any company. They instantly mop up oiliness on bad hair days or after the gym. They also give a fabulous dusty texture for when
one wants to tie up one’s hair.

L’Oreal Paris Everstyle Volume Boosting Mousse

This is great for styling a scrunched up look as it separates and retains the curls. It is a product for all seasons. It gives body and fullness to the finest of hairs, yet doesn’t cause flakiness.
