Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their bodies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I would say I have an athletic body type.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

Yeah definitely, I had a bit of weight on before and now I’m more lean and fit. I’ve worked on my body a lot by going to the gym and have been eating healthy in order to achieve my goals.

How has your style changed over the years?

I wouldn’t say it has changed drastically, but I like to be different so you’ll find me wearing things from a crop top to a shirt with a bow tie. I have become more experimental with my outfit choices and am not afraid to try something new.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

I don’t really have any troublesome area to be honest, I love my body how it is but I will continue to work on it and gain more muscle. With my regular sessions at the gym, my
body really leaves me with nothing to complain about!

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I pretty much wear whatever I want; I just have to like it. So that stretches the limits to what I end up wearing, it could be something fitted but something completely loose and casual at other times.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

Everyone has their own unique style of dressing up, so I wouldn’t really pinpoint mistakes but I guess you should aim to wear something that suits you. If you end up following a trend not suited for your body or style, it’s very easy to spot.

What silhouettes suit your body the most?

I would say fitted pieces suit my body the most, anything from skinny jeans on regular days to saris for weddings.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

I don’t quite shy away from wearing any sort of clothing but I guess nothing too revealing. Balance is essential in an outfit and ultra revealing outfits just don’t appeal to me.
