An Ahmadi believer was stabbed to death near Punjab's Sheikhupura district on Tuesday.
According to details, two unidentified assailants attacked Qamarul Zia, 35, as he came out of his house in Kot Abdul Malik within the jurisdiction of Factory Area Police Station.
The attackers stabbed on Zia's neck, leaving him in a pool of blood.
The deceased. who was the only bread winner of his family, is survived by a widow, a son and two daughters.

In 2012, Zia had also been attacked by some local religious extremists after which he left the area for a brief period of time.
Mazhar Ali, brother of the deceased, is of the opinion that the attackers were from the same locality and one of them has already fled the area.
Zia’s family said he had been receiving threatening calls from unknown numbers since long.
"Zia was killed by repeated strokes of knives," Javed Ahmed, a police official dealing with the investigation, told The Express Tribune.

He said they have shifted the body to the morgue for autopsy after registering an FIR on the complaint of Mazhar Ali against unidentified accused and have started search for the culprits.
The police official said the family of the deceased is claiming that the murder is a result of religious hatred, however, it is premature to say this since the investigation is under way.
