Helping hand: Khidmat cards to be given to 994 more people

Facilitation and guidance was being provided to the differently-abled at all four centres in Bhakkar

The provincial government is planning to increase the number of Khidmat cards to be distributed among differently-abled people in Bhakkar, Social Welfare District Officer Khizar Hayat said on Sunday. He said the government had increased membership from 4,945 to 5,889 and had added 994 beneficiaries to the initial pool. He said 2,100 Khidmat cards had been issued at four centres in Bhakkar and Mankera, Darya Khan and Kalorkot sub districts. The performance of the staff at the centres was being observed so that process of distributing Khidmat cards could be expedited, he said.  Facilitation and guidance was being provided to the differently-abled at all four centres in Bhakkar.
