The dress debate that took the internet by storm has come back to haunt us, albeit in a different form.
Remember the 'white and gold or black and blue dress' which went viral on social media? Well, this time we've got a jacket which appears white and blue to some and brown and black to others.
The jacket first appeared on Tumblr, where user Poppunkblogger, uploaded a picture asking people what colour they see.
She wrote, "I hate to make a new blue/black white/gold dress meme but my friend has this jacket and she says it's white and blue but I see black and brown please tell me what you see."
And the endless debate started...

Her friend uploaded the picture of her jacket on Twitter and held a poll for users to vote which colour they see. With over 500 votes, the winner so far is brown and black.

The Independent explains, "The huge difference in opinion is a product of how our eyes have evolved, and how we manage to figure out what colour things are when they're lit by sunlight."
Our system has a white-balance, much like cameras, due to which when we see light hitting a white paper, our eyes automatically deduct the yellowness from the light and just see the white of the paper.
Which pretty much becomes a challenge, when we're trying to see the colour of the object minus the colour of the light reflecting off an object. And due to the lighting of the image, our brain
There's really no right or wrong answer to this, it depends on the process of the of our eyes and brains.
