Petraeus calls on Kiyani

US Commander General David Petraeus called on the Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at General Headquarters on Monday.

The visiting dignitary remained with General Kayani for some time as matters of professional interest were discussed, including the war against terrorism and security issues at the Pak-Afghan border.

General Petraeus later accompanied the army chief to a Low Intensity Conflict Training Facility developed near Mangla.
