Traffic police have collected Rs2.67 million in fines from commuters in Hangu districts over the last three months. Speaking to journalists on Sunday, Hangu Traffic In charge Inspector Shahzeb Khan said the action was taken on the directives of DPO Shah Nazar. “Drivers were fined for tinted windows and driving unregistered vehicles,” Shahzeb said. “Vehicles that were overloaded and parked in the wrong places were also fined.” According to the police official, 8,406 vehicles were fined. He added action will be taken against those who failed to follow traffic rules.
