Court Verdict: Drug trafficker sentenced to death
Shabbir has been handed down death sentence while the Shafi received the life term
RAWALPINDI:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday awarded death sentence to a convict and life term to another in a 661 kg hashish trafficking case. ATC judge Chuadhary Anwaar Ahmed also imposed a fine of Rs200,000 each on Muhammad Shabbir and Muhammad Shafi, the convicts. Shabbir has been handed down death sentence while the Shafi received the life term. They will have to serve two additional years in jail if they fail to pay the fine.
