Meeting The Governor: Afghan refugees issues discussed

Poyan exchanged views with Qaiser on matters of bilateral interests

PESHAWAR: Afghan Consul General in Peshawar Dr Abdullah Waheed Poyan met Asad Qaiser, the acting governor of the province on Thursday. At the Governor House, Poyan exchanged views with Qaiser on matters of bilateral interests. The two discussed the current situation of the region, Pak-Afghan relations and the recent developments in Afghanistan. According to an official handout issued on Thursday and sources from the office of Afghan consul general, Poyan also discussed issues faced by Afghan nationals in K-P. This included registered Afghan refugees residing in Peshawar and other parts of the province.
