The Game of Thrones (GoT) season 6 teaser is out and it's left us with chills.
The video is set in The Hall of Faces and aptly, exhibits the heads of GoT's leading characters with reminders of some of their most well-known quotes, starting of course with Eddard Stark (better known as Ned Stark), "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword."
The camera then moves on to show one by one, the disembodied faces of characters, which have died in the series so far, and ends with panning across the faces of surviving characters, including Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Arya and Bran Stark, whose fate is yet to be determined.

Following Ned is Robb Stark, "I've won every battle, but I'm losing this war."
Catelyn Stark (or rather her head) also makes an appearance. "Show them how it feels to lose what they love."
While we rejoice in the Starks' return, we are soon reminded of Joffrey Baratheon -- the unjust, evil son of Cersei Lannister as the camera moves to him.
"Every one is mine to torment."
After shock took over GoT fans across the globe following the death of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in season five's finale, there was speculation that he may somehow return in season six.
'Game of Thrones' finale: Pakistani fans more shocked than surprised
With the teaser out, and his friendly reminder that "winter brings the dead to life", we are assured that our beloved Jon Snow will in fact, still be a part of the show.

Game of Thrones is now heading into uncharted territory as the seasons have out-paced the books written by George R R Martin. And that means readers will no longer be able to base predictions off of the books.
The season premieres on April 24.
