Bogus cheques: Two booked for fraud
The police have registered cases against both the suspects and have launched an investigation
ISLAMABAD:
Police have booked two persons in two separate incidents of cheque fraud on Saturday. In the first case, Chaudhry Abdur Rashid told the police that Sohail Shehzad gave him a cheque for Rs850,000 and that it bounced back since there was not enough balance in the issuer’s account. In the second case, Imran Hussain complained that Ghulam Asghar issued him two bounced cheques for Rs8.8 million. The police have registered cases against both the suspects and have launched an investigation.
