Killing a cop: Man awarded 108 years prison term

Convict Raees Khan and his accomplices are said to have killed SHO Farhad Ali when he raided a site to arrest them

A man was awarded 108 years in jail and fined Rs1.1 million for killing an SHO of Regi police station. The court also issued arrest warrants for the three accomplices who are still at large.


The verdict was announced by anti-terrorism court judge Salim Jan Khan on Wednesday. Convict Raees Khan and his accomplices are said to have killed SHO Farhad Ali when he raided a site to arrest them. Later, the police registered a case.
