MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Preity Zinta appears to be quite miffed with all the conjecture surrounding her impending marriage. The actor spoke up against the “manufactured news,” adding that there’s no need for any rumours as she will announce her plans whenever she has to. Her outburst comes after months of speculation regarding Zinta’s relationship with American beau Gene Goodenough. Last year, reports emerged that the Kal Ho Na Ho star would be tying the knot in January and now, rumours are pointing at a secret ceremony that will allegedly be held this Valentine’s Day.

But Preity is trying to kill the media party. “I am seriously fed up with all this speculation about my personal life! The media really knows how to ruin things and it needs to stop!” tweeted Preity. She went on to call out the media for not carrying “real news” anymore. “I think I should shut down your paper. I am actually fed up of manufactured news. Can you please leave my marriage announcement to me? After all, it’s my life. Till then, leave me alone,” she added.

Along with this, the 41-year-old – who was last seen in 2014’s Happy Ending and as a judge on the dance show Nach Baliye 7 – also spoke about a shoot without divulging much information about it. “At a shoot now so have to run! It’s a crazy day today and I must confess, I am getting crazier,” she wrote.
