Metro Bus project: Rs2.9bn paid for land acquired

He said a camp to make payments would be set up at Aam Khas Bagh

MULTAN: Land Acquisition Collector Ghulam Mustafa Gujjar said on Sunday that the government has paid Rs2.9 billion for the land acquired for the Metro Bus project in Multan so far. He said the money had been paid to people whose properties were acquired for the bus route so far. Those whose lands were acquired for the route between the Mumtazabad Railway Crossing and Kumharanwala Chowk would be paid starting February 11. He said a camp to make payments would be set up at Aam Khas Bagh.
