Multan police claimed to have arrested 22 criminals, including nine proclaimed offenders, in separate raids on Friday. A police spokesman said drugs and weapons had been seized from them. He said police had conducted search operations in various parts of the city and had arrested a drug peddler, 10 gamblers, two men with unlicensed weapons and nine proclaimed offenders.
