Transporters increse fares

MULTAN:

In conjunction with the increase in petroleum prices, transporters have increased their fares, while grocery prices have also gone up.

Fare rates have gone up by 10 percent in Khanewal, Mailsi, Lodhran, Kot Addu, Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan.

Although transporters said that the fares will be increased after consultation with the association, some have already bought increased fares into effect.

Meanwhile, the prices of sugar, oil, vegetables and spices have also increased by 5 to 10 percent.
