Staying connected: Governor Mehtab visits Bara

He was briefed about the 108-kilometre-long Sheen Kamar-Maidan Road that is under construction

PESHAWAR: Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan visited Bara, Khyber Agency, on Tuesday, where he was briefed about the 108-kilometre-long Sheen Kamar-Maidan Road that is under construction. The road would be constructed at a cost of Rs2.26 billion and would be completed in two phases, a handout issued on Tuesday stated. The road would shorten distance between Tirah and Maidan in Khyber Agency. It would also reduce distance for residents in Kurram and Orakzai agencies who would be able to come to Peshawar via Bara after the road is constructed. The governor was informed work on the first phase is under way and is costing Rs1.06 billion.
