False alarm: Woman resting outside school seen as threat
When she was searched, three CNICs were found from her possession

A wave of panic spread among students and staff at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Hathian, Mardan on Monday after a suspicious-looking woman was spotted sitting outside the main gate of the premises.
Insiders familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune the woman was clad in a burqa and was in a semi-conscious state in front of the school entrance. The school authorities informed the police. The woman was taken into custody. It was revealed that she hailed from Lond Khwar but refused to inform the police about her exact whereabouts.
When she was searched, three CNICs were found from her possession. According to insiders, one of them belonged to her while the other two CNICs belonged to her son and husband.
It was later revealed that the woman was a heart patient and had only stopped outside the school’s gate to rest. The case was eventually dismissed.
