Divisional-Level : Under-23 K-P games trophy on display

The games played during the championship include cricket, football, hockey and squash among others

ABBOTABAD: The logo and trophy of the under-23 Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa games was put on display at Jalal Baba Auditorium in Abbottabad on Monday. While talking to journalists, Sports and Culture Deputy Secretary Adil Safi said the logo ‘Khilari ho tou sabit karo’ (If you’re a player, prove it) and trophy for the divisional-level games would also be displayed at the remaining six divisional headquarters of the province. He added trials to select the players would be conducted in the third week of February. The games played during the championship include cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, squash, badminton and table tennis. Men and women will participate, he said, adding 5,000 sports people will take part in the games. According to Safi, the assistant commissioner of the host district would be the focal person for the events held.
