The Singapore branch of Nikon recently held a competition on their Facebook page and, misjudging a picture, awarded Yu Wei a Nikon bag for capturing a plane perfectly framed between the side rails of a rooftop ladder.

While the monochrome picture seemingly looks okay, by adjusting a few levels on Photoshop, one can clearly decipher the box around the plane and figure out that the picture is, in fact, a fake, reported RT.

Photographers were outraged as well as amused at how the multinational company could miss such a big flaw in the photo and took to social media to shame Nikon.
This photographer somehow managed to Photoshop his way to a prize from none other than Nikon! Hard not to laugh!https://t.co/iwDCnBOYAi

20 Photoshop fails that will make you cringe
Many took it as a joke and uploaded their 'badly' photoshopped images in hopes of winning the prize
Hopefully we win something from Nikon too. pic.twitter.com/zh8UWMPRo6

The photographer explains that he got 'lucky' with this prize-worthy shot, and decided that the addition of a plane in the middle would make it look better.
