SARGODHA:

“If the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf fails to form local government in Mianwali, I will protest against the party’s district leadership at PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s Bani Gala house,” said Ubaidullah Khan Ghauri, a party activist.

Talking to newsmen, he said scores of party workers in Mianwali were of the view that after winning 23 seats in the local government elections, the PTI was well-placed to form a government in the district. He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had secured 11 seats.

“The PTI needs three seats to form a government, while the PML-N requires 16 seats,” he said.

“If, despite such favourable situations, the party fails to form a government in Mianwali, it will speak volumes for the party’s experience in these matters.”
