LAHORE:

A man has sought a case against his wife who allegedly used derogatory language against him and threatened to kill him if he kept pestering her to return to his house. An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Shahdara SHO on this petition on Saturday. Petitioner Barkat Ali told the court that his wife Salma Bibi would often argue with him over petty issues. He said that he had told her several times not to argue but she had paid no attention. He said that she had left his house a few days ago and went to live with her parents. He said that he had visited her parents’ house and requested her to return to his house but she refused. “She used abusive language and threatened to kill me if I visited her parents’ house again or asked her to return to my house,” Ali said. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against his wife for using abusive language against him and threatening to kill him.
