ISLAMABAD: Keeping in view the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in establishing greater connectivity in the region, both countries have agreed to enable development of a range of initiatives in the sphere of information and communication technology (ICT) to create an e-corridor to supplement the project. In this regard, a high level delegation led by China Investment Promotion Center Chairman Yan Lijin recently called on Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rahman. The delegation discussed collaboration between Pakistani and Chinese public and corporate sectors in areas of innovation such as IT parks, electronic payments and other ICT services and infrastructure.
