The Chakwal police have arrested a suspected woman drug peddler and seized a large quantity of opium from her while the Kalar Kahar have arrested two robbers and recovered arms from them.
On a tip-off, the local police raided a house at Scheme-III in Chakwal and seized 2850 grams of opium from the woman drug peddler, identified as Asia Bano.
Meanwhile, the Kalar Kahar police arrested a suspect, Mzhar Hussai, a resident of Chak Misri, and seized three 30-bore pistols and five bullets from his possession. The same police arrested another suspect, identified as Nasir Mehmood, a resident of Chak Misri, and seized a 30-bore pistol and five bullets from his possession.
