Veteran actor Anupam Kher may have trouble remembering the past but Twitter doesn't. Kher is evidently over the moon after receiving a Padma Award but the internet seems to have found something that clearly shows him flip-flopping on the award and its credibility.

Back in 2010, the actor tweeted his distaste for awards in India, including the prestigious Padma Awards, saying such awards had made a 'mockery' out of the system and lacked 'authenticity'.

Nobody has the right to call our country intolerant: Anupam Kher

Fast-forward five years later and the veteran actor seems to have forgotten the 'authenticity' issues, welcoming the Padma Bhushan on Twitter while dedicating it to his father.

And while the Bollywood fraternity was happy for Kher... a Twitter pushback was almost certain.
