Charsadda assault: Pak expats deplore varsity attack
Pakistan consul general, inter-faith leaders and Pakistan-born police officials were among the participants

Pakistani expatriates in the United States condemned on Saturday in strong terms the dastardly attack on the Charsadda’s Bacha Khan University and prayed for the dead. According to a news channel, the Pakistani community in New York City’s Brooklyn area held a prayer gathering for the martyrs of the Bacha Khan University attack. The community members held a vigil in remembrance of the victims and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. Pakistan consul general, inter-faith leaders and Pakistan-born police officials were among the participants. A similar event was organised in the United Kingdom’s Oldham neighbourhood, where speakers stressed the need to stay united in the face of such barbaric acts.
