Sunny Leone says 2016 will be year of adult comedies in Bollywood
The interview was tagged as "disgusting and sexist" by a string of celebrities, who expressed support for Sunny.
Talking to Bombay Times, Sunny defended her choice of staying during the course of the entire interview by saying she would "never walk out of an interview".
"I will never walk out of an interview. I will face my problems. I am a fighter. I don't usually lose my cool. I was raised by my parents this way," she said.
On the obnoxious questions and the way the journalist conducted the interview, Sunny said, "I had not seen his shows before so I didn't know what I was walking into. I don't have anything bad to say about him. It's not in my nature to do so. People are curious. Everyone has a certain style and sensibility. I've made my independent choices. Maybe they are not conventional, so I will have to answer those questions to the best of my ability. I've never held back."
She concluded by saying, "You have to move forward with a smile on your face."
