Fatal accident: Two Metro workers die from electric shock
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sought a report on the incident
LAHORE:
Two labourers died from an electric shock while working on the Orange Line Metro Train project in Chuhng area.
Police said Ghulam Shabbir, 30, and Anwar, 35, residents of Narowal, were working on a crane near Kibria Town when it touched a live electric wire. They were taken to Jinnah hospital where doctors pronounced them dead. Sub-Inspector Tauseef said that they had been relatives. One of them had worked as foreman and the other as driver, he said. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sought a report on the incident.
