Police action: Six outlaws arrested

CIA police recovered one 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from Hamzullah Khan

The Islamabad Police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered liquor, weapons and stolen property from their possession. According to a police spokesman, a team of the Aabpara police, acting on information, apprehended notorious bootlegger Safeer Masih from Sector G-7. As many as 30 litres of wine were seized from his possession. Further, Bani Gala police arrested Imran and Sohail for carrying five bottles of wine, while Shalimar police arrested Irfan and seized one 30-bore pistol and ammunition from him. Separately, CIA police recovered one 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from Hamzullah Khan. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is under way. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani appreciated the overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb the activities of anti-social elements.
