PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government is going to open the newly-constructed two-level Bab-e-Peshawar flyover for traffic on Monday (today). Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan will participate in the inauguration ceremony. The flyover will be open for traffic after being completed in a period of six months. Though Chief Minister Pervez Khattak claimed while inaugurating work on the flyover that the project would be completed in 120 days, it is still believed to be one of the fastest projects to have been completed in the province. The flyover is constructed on Hayatabad-Jamrud Road. The estimated cost of completion was Rs1.77 billion and the contract was awarded to National Logistics Cell (NLC).
