Modern bus service: Malaysia to invest in transport sector

Rs200 million would be spent on construction of modern bus terminals in Thatta, Badin.

KARACHI: Malaysian investors are keen on investing in the transport sector in Sindh and in this regard a delegation of Malaysian investors is scheduled to visit Pakistan soon, stated Sindh Transport Minister, Akhtar Hussain Jadoon, while chairing a meeting here on Wednesday.

He said that a sum on Rs200 million would be spent on the construction of modern bus terminals in Thatta and Badin. He further said that 11 modern bus terminals, on the pattern of Japan and Malaysia, would be set up in Sindh.

He added that a policy has been framed for the betterment of the transport sector.
