The duo's appearance on hit reality TV show Bigg Boss received much appreciation from fans, but unfortunately some people had reservations with the way the show was carried out.

They appealed to a local court against Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, the programme's director and TV channel Colors, and according to DNA India, their plea has been accepted.

"A scene with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan inside a Kali temple on the sets of TV reality show Bigg Boss was broadcast by Colors channel in December last year," Bharat Rajput, president of Hindu Mahasabha's Meerut unit said.

He also said he had written a letter to the District Magistrate of Meerut and the SSP on December 23, and sent an email to the channel regarding the matter.

His case states that anyone entering a religious place with their shoes on is being disrespectful and shouldn't be allowed inside the place of worship, and airing such an act on TV is insensitive as it hurt people's religious sentiment.

When the channel didn't respond to his email nor did the police or administration address the issue, he took the case to the court of CJM Sanjay Kumar Singh.

The hearing will be held on January 18.

Karrar | 8 years ago | Reply Well, I will do as told by the director/producer on a TV set. Doesn't matter if the set was a temple, a mosque or a synagogue replica. But this should not be seen as an indicator of how will I actually behave in real places of worship.
Mahesh | 8 years ago | Reply Does that mean you would also walk into such a setting with shoes on?
