New judges: Over 60 candidates passed written test

Their interviews are expected to start January 26

PESHAWAR:


The Peshawar High Court (PHC) announced the results of exams held for the recruitment of additional and district session judges on Thursday.



It declared 64 candidates had successfully passed the written test. Their interviews are expected to start January 26. Some lawyers challenged the eligibility criteria of the test and got a stay order from the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP).

The people whose results are still pending with the SCP include Tipu Sultan, Rizwanullah, Afzal Hussain, Behzad Haider, Fazal Norani, Shahab Ali, Saleem Shah and Abdul Waheed Ayaz.
