RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi police arrested five people and seized 7965 grams of hashish and seven bottles of liquor from their possession in an operation against drug peddlers on Tuesday.
The Wah Cantonment police seized 655 grams of hashish from Zulfiqar Mirza and 310 grams from Nisar Ahmed, after they were intercepted on road. The Gujar Khan police also conducted raids in separate localities and seized 4 kilograms of hashish from Ali Asghar and 3 kilograms of hashish from Ghulam Abbas.
Police also seized seven bottles of liquor from Muhammad Asif.
The police have registered separate cases against them.
