Issuance of CNICs: NADRA accused of victimization

Mir Agha, a resident of Shero Jangi area said he requested NADRA to issue CNICs to his granddaughters but in vain

PESHAWAR: One man has been running pillar to post to get computerised national identity cards for his granddaughters from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). He has also filed a case in the court against the facility. While addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, Mir Agha, a resident of Shero Jangi area said he requested NADRA to issue CNICs to his granddaughters but in vain. He said his father migrated from Afghanistan and obtained Pakistani nationality in 1966. Agha said his children and wife were issued CNICs but NADRA officials refused to issue identity cards to his granddaughters.
