Inferno: Ex-police official dies in house fire
Karim received critical burn injuries and was shifted to PIMS where he succumbed to his injuries
ISLAMABAD:
A retired official of Islamabad police burnt to death when a fire broke out in his room in a flat in sector G-9/2 following a gas leakage, police source said on Friday. Abdul Karim was a retried superintendent of Islamabad police, and was sitting in a room without realizing that the room had filled with gas. The leakage caused a fire which engulfed the apartment. Karim received critical burn injuries and was shifted to PIMS where he succumbed to his injuries.
