Vacating CPO : Interior ministry sought as mediator
Police source said that a fine amounting Rs. 5,00,000 has been imposed by CDA

The Islamabad Police have submitted a request with the Ministry of Interior for granting more time to vacate the building of Central Police Office (CPO) housing the offices of IGP, DIG and AIGs. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sought the intervention of interior ministry to convince the police high ups for vacating building in sector F-7 where CPO Islamabad is situated. CDA has formally submitted this request with the ministry after futile efforts with law enforcement department in convincing them to vacate this building. Police source said that a fine amounting Rs. 5,00,000 has been imposed by CDA for not vacating this building.
